NextGen Futures are recruiting for an Employment Coach to support their bootcamp attendees

NextGen Futures – West of England is a new bootcamp designed to fast-track skills development and support employment in the creative digital economy. This course in games-tech programming, including Unity and Unreal Engine, has been developed in partnership with VR, AR, animation, VFX, manufacturing, and automation companies in the West of England region.

NextGen Futures are looking to employ an experienced and thoughtful coach to work with their bootcamp participants. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the tech sector and be committed to investing time to assist in the growth and development of others. The NextGen Futures Coach will support and encourage the professional development of the course participants in partnership with the course tutors, provide active pastoral care and preparation for the workplace, and guidance to help them achieve their goals through study and eventual employment.

The programme will run from early September through to January 2022. The NextGen Futures Coach position is flexible and session timings are variable and negotiable.

Rate of pay: £31.25 per hour. In total 200 hours are planned throughout the course.
